In our two minute film opening you will be introduced to three friends, they all play important roles in order to make the story flow. I volunteered to play Brooke (the lesbian) while Millie and Paige agreed to play her friends. We decided to stick to using our group as it would be easier rather than getting too many people involved in our production. Although we have decided to bring a boy into the mix, as Brooke's friends try and set her up on a date with him. We have chosen to use a boy from the year above who also does Media Studies, Will Turner.
As i have previously stated we were inspired by the film "Mean Girls" therefore the costume, make-up and hair all need to symbolize a girly character. We have chosen not to make it obvious that Brooke is a lesbian due to the way she looks, as her friends in the film do not know she is a lesbian, so therefore we want her to be shown in the same way as her two friends, referring to the way they look.
